Product Specialist

What will you do?

As Product Specialist in our R&D department, you will be responsible for optimising product development and quality assurance processes. Your role includes actively facilitating knowledge transfer on new products to all corners of our organisation, and you actively contribute to the success of our team.

What do we ask of you?

Technical skills

• Experience in server engineering and networking (up to layer 3), preferably with CCNA certification.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills.
• Basic scripting experience (Powershell/Python).

Education and experience

• MBO+/HBO work/thought level in ICT, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Your responsibilities

At the heart of our technical team, you are not just a performer of tasks, but an active player in our success story. You are the one who tests the software and network hardware to its limits, provides valuable feedback to the software development teams and manages the Van Breda data centre. In addition, you share your knowledge by providing training to junior service and field engineers, assist sales staff with answers to their questions, and rotate with precision and proactivity in both the third-line service (50% of the time) and the 24/7 breakdown service (5x-7x per year). You constantly stay abreast of industry trends and competition, and your commitment and contribution are indispensable in our dynamic team.
