Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the design, planning and implementation of various events (local, regional, international, in-person and virtual) including the associated stakeholder management
- Be creative in development and execution of virtual and hybrid events by using digital tools as participant management tools, Apps and MICE system
- You research event options and opportunities; this will significantly expand RWE AG's digital event portfolio
- You will be involved in the organisation of Executive Board events at national and international level and ensure the specific customer requirements in the Executive Board support
- You design holistic event concepts for Executive Board, committee and advisory board events, taking into account economic efficiency, compliance rules, tax regulations, Group guidelines and adherence to event budgets
- You will be responsible for selecting service providers and support event management functions, particularly in the areas of quality and process efficiency and cost optimisation
Your profile
- Completed training as an event manager, tourism or hotel specialist or similar and/or ideally a degree in business administration with a focus on event management, tourism or the hotel industry
- At least 3 years of national and international experience in event management or in a comparable environment
- Experience in working on projects, ideally initial experience in managing projects including leading a project team
- Very good user knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Business fluent in German and English
- Strong self-confidence, high level of assertiveness and enjoy working in a team with strong feedback giving and receiving skills
Advantageous, but not a must
- Experience in working with top executives and management/board members is an advantage
