Introductie vacature 

Join a global leader in the food industry as a Project and Portfolio Manager. This is a temporary position for 9 months with the potential for extension. As a Project and Portfolio Manager in the Process Innovation & Excellence team, you play a crucial role in driving strategic priorities within the organization's Shared Service Centres (SSC). The team focuses on continuous improvement and technology initiatives to enhance operational performance.

The organization is a leading producer and distributor of consumer products, including dairy-based beverages, infant nutrition, cheese, and desserts across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. With branch offices in 38 countries and approximately 24,000 employees, they are committed to operational excellence and innovation.

The team ensures that innovations and improvements are supported and eventually embedded and owned by the operational departments and is the driving force for:

  • Determine innovation, Improvement & technology strategy;
  • Define methodologies, governance, framework, and policy on continuous improvement;
  • Identify, design, build, and implement process- & system innovations;
  • Train and build capabilities on new solutions and ways of working.

Your key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead a team to deliver portfolios, programs, and projects for optimal outcomes;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies and support the delivery of strategic objectives;
  • Identify and implement value-adding opportunities in the continuous improvement/project portfolio management strategy;
  • Lead and drive the execution of the strategy roadmap;
  • Manage and track local/global programs and projects, reporting on key deliverables;
  • Lead and support Board meetings and project-related sessions;
  • Communicate project updates and achievements through communication initiatives.

Vacature eisen

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or IT;
  • LEAN Green/Black Belt certified with hands-on process improvement experience;
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) with project management experience;
  • 10 years of experience in Project Management and Continuous Improvement;
  • SAP project implementation experience with a view of E2E business processes;
  • Shared Services experience preferred;
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management capabilities;
  • Strong analytical skills, pro-active, and results-oriented;
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
