Internship - People Business Partners

The Internship

As Intern People Business Partners you will report to the People Business Partner for Global Commerce and you will support in the rollout of global initiatives in this Function. Besides working on various HR related projects in different fields of interest (e.g. L&D, Performance Management, Recruitment, Succession Management), you also experience a close connection to the business; giving you the best overall experience of the People function at the HEINEKEN Head Office. Also, you will be working on various projects that we run for the HO.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department and HEINEKEN. We give you the confidence and freedom so that you can work like a true entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world in, which is why we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course, always with the guidance that is suitable for you.

The department

This role is based at our Head Office in the centre of Amsterdam and is part of the Head Office People department, that supports all employees in Amsterdam and Schiphol, and includes 14 People Business Partners from different nationalities, a Legal & Rewards team and a People & Organisational Development Team.

Terms of employment

• Your start date is July 1, 2024
• The internship is full-time (in consultation is also possible 4 days a week)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (this is in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a(n) (graduation) internship
• Your place of employment is Amsterdam
• You will receive an internship allowance of €500 gross per month based on 40 hours per week
• You enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on full-time)
• If you don't have a public transport student product, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments, you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. You can also organize fun activities together with your fellow interns.

Terms and conditions from HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution at HBO-WO/Master level, from which we will receive proof of enrolment for the current academic year from you.
2. Living in the Netherlands during an internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate in housing).
