We offer you a rewarding internship in the Netherlands at YourSurprise! We are YourSurprise, a fast growing online gift shop . We offer more than 2500 different items to personalize. Our young and innovative company is based on an island in the southwest of the Netherlands. Amsterdam is a two hour drive away. Rotterdam, Antwerp and Breda are one hour away and the North Sea is only 5 minutes from our Campus. We are an international team of over 330 people. We produce gifts in large quantities for our B2B customers, but especially single gifts for our private customers. In short, from a grandmother ordering for her granddaughter to a company such as Coca-Cola, everyone can find a gift to suit their wishes. We are looking for a new colleague who is excited to do a 6-month internship, starting from September 2024 and January 2025. Where do you end up? You will become part of our E-Commerce team, which is an international team consisting of more than 10 different nationalities. Team Business is part of the E-Commerce team in which seven colleagues currently speak to all business customers within YourSurprise. The business team also consists of several nationalities: French, German and Dutch and the working language within the team is English. Together we handle customer contact for 28 countries in these 4 languages. We do all this via telephone, chat and email from our YourSurprise campus. What will you do? You work together with different teams within YourSurprise to ultimately deliver the best service to B2B customers; You maintain relationships with your existing customers in order to achieve more sales, loyalty and repeat purchases; You are responsible for the sales development in the French-speaking markets. From the first contact to the after-sales service of the orders, you guide customers in the realisation of their projects of personalised promotional gifts; You ensure the active follow-up of commercial offers; You are also the bridge between the production floor and your business customer; you ensure that orders are entered in our planning system with all relevant order and customer information so that our production team can get to work; You are driven, goal-oriented and enthusiastic to achieve monthly turnover and margin targets. Who are you? You are an enthusiastic student who is studying business or economics at a Bachelor or Master level; You speak French on a C1 level or you are a native French speaker and your English is business level (Dutch is not required but is always an advantage); You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit (required); You are driven, goal-oriented and eager to achieve monthly sales and margin targets. You have a hands-on mentality and like to get things done; You are strong in your shoes and are not afraid to negotiate; You are flexible and don't get stressed easily; You are result-oriented and can handle deadlines well; You are a real team player, someone we can build on and you have a great sense of responsibility; You are critical and always strive for the best result.
