At Sunweb Group, we work every day with the goal of making our vacations unforgettable memories. And in the unlikely event that something goes wrong during the holiday, we are also there to provide advice, help and solutions. We do this primarily with our team directly to our customers, but also to our guides on our holiday destinations. In this role you are collaborating mainly with our guides on destinations during summer and winter season and with your colleagues in our Customer Aftercare department.

For this position we are looking for a new colleague who will be available 32-40 hours a week. You are currently living in one of our Sunweb Group office countries : NL, DK, ES, BE, FR or SE.

Starting date: as soon as possible.

Your impact

As a Guide Support Specialist, your primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive assistance to our teams stationed across various destinations. You will be tasked with assistance /resolving complaints for Sunweb guests by managing refunds or additional payments related to accommodation issues, coordinating local travel arrangements, and facilitating bookings for accommodations and flights.

We start all this with a familiarization period, in which you learn the ins and outs about our organization, brands and systems. We will then take you through our working method and processes within the Aftercare team, after which you can start your challenge. With 1-on-1 guidance, we ensure that you develop further, so that we grow together.

Job requirements

What skills will bring you to the top?

• Background in guiding or destination representation is preferred.
  
• Ability to communicate diplomatically and empathetically, especially in challenging situations.
• Strong networking skills and established relationships with agencies at various destinations.
  
• Be familiar with and learn quickly in most common software we use (Davinci, flight tool, guide tool & Genesis, Sundio tool).
  
• Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking) C1/ C2 level in English is a must, other languages would be an asset.
  

To be successful in this role, you need to be a good listener, keep facts and emotions separate to get to the core of the problem. You are able to work in a structured way, to keep an overview, even under high work pressure. You are solution oriented; converting a problem into one or more solutions.
