Market leader in Employment Screening is looking for an experienced Controller with strategic insight to ensure the company's current and future financial health.

We are looking for an experienced Controller with strategic insight. Is that you? Then keep reading.

You will have a broad role within controlling, with a focus on business control. Therefore, besides your ability to make data insightful, you also need a solid foundation in accounting and financial administration. You have a keen focus on risk management, identifying internal and external risks, and minimizing them as much as possible for Validata.

What will you do

In short, the emphasis in this role is on specifying business goals and strategies, monitoring budgets, and increasing efficiency in business processes. Therefore, you will also serve as a link between the various departments within the company.

A typical Tuesday at the office for you means starting your day with a freshly made cappuccino (oat or regular, your choice) from the barista, followed by an introductory meeting with a new colleague who wants to learn more about BI-Tooling. Your second cup of coffee will be during a meeting with the CFO to discuss the financial results of the past month. After lunch downstairs and a quick walk, it's time for reporting. How are the OGSM goals progressing? A quick game of padel with your colleagues and then home. Tomorrow is another day!

Expectations

What do you bring?

• You have (the skills and mindset of someone with) a completed HBO degree in economics;
• You have 3-5 years of experience as a controller;
• You have commercial insight and a passion for reporting dashboards;
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• You are assertive and have strong communication and advisory skills at all levels;
• Affinity with building dashboards and APIs is a plus;
• You are proactive and take initiative in your field;
• You perform well under pressure and are not intimidated by tight deadlines.
